The History
Formula 1 Grand Prix racing has a long history. The first event to be counted towards the World Championship was British Grand Prix at Silverstone on 13 May 1950. 61 years have lapsed away since this day and 839 races in 36 countries at 68 circuits have taken place so far. Drivers, teams, constructors, cars, circuits and, naturally, a lot of results, facts and statistics are all significant parts of this history.
